To Zack…my hero!

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.”  (Anonymous)

When I ‘met’ Zack, he completely took away my breath. He not only made a home run, he swatted the ball way out of the park. And this page will forever be dedicated to you Zack…

After clicking on a link on my Twitter timeline, I was encountered by a life-changing image. Zack is in a wheelchair about to embark on a 4,000 kilometer (2,485 mile) journey from Kenya to South Africa. On 9th June 2012, Zack was on his way to the nearest spinal cord injury rehabilitation centre in South Africa, a land far away from his beloved country Kenya.

The aim? To raise Kshs 250 million (US$ 3 million) to build a facility at home in Kenya.

Zack, you taught me who a leader is. You showed me how to take action. You demonstrated that the power is in my hands. You renewed my belief in humanity. You rekindle my love for others.

Let us “BRING ZACK HOME“, please support him and the Kenya Paraplegic Organization to build this facility in Kenya.
